Telopea Floor Replacement

SCE Corp replaced the floor finish at a Telopea property, removing the existing coverings, inspecting the underlying floor, preparing and levelling the surface, and installing new vinyl composition tiles.

The project brought together removal, substrate preparation and flooring installation, renewing the floor through the kitchen area.

Project overview

Subfloor Preparation and New Floor Finish

SCE removed and disposed of the old floor coverings, inspected the underlying structure and prepared the surface. Floor-levelling compound was supplied and spread before installation of the new vinyl composition tiles.

The before photograph shows an exposed timber subfloor after removal of the former finish.

SCE inspected, prepared and levelled the subfloor before installing the replacement finish.

Visual outcome

The completed view shows a consistent light-coloured floor finish through the kitchen area.

Four Coordinated Stages

Remove

SCE removed the existing floor coverings and disposed of the removed material.

Inspect

The underlying floor was exposed for inspection before preparation of the replacement surface.

Prepare

The exposed floor was prepared and floor-levelling compound applied before installation.

Install

SCE supplied and installed the vinyl composition tiles and completed the final checks.
