Initial condition
The before photograph shows an exposed timber subfloor after removal of the former finish.
SCE Corp replaced the floor finish at a Telopea property, removing the existing coverings, inspecting the underlying floor, preparing and levelling the surface, and installing new vinyl composition tiles.
The project brought together removal, substrate preparation and flooring installation, renewing the floor through the kitchen area.
SCE removed and disposed of the old floor coverings, inspected the underlying structure and prepared the surface. Floor-levelling compound was supplied and spread before installation of the new vinyl composition tiles.

The underlying floor was exposed for inspection before preparation of the replacement surface.
The exposed floor was prepared and floor-levelling compound applied before installation.
SCE supplied and installed the vinyl composition tiles and completed the final checks.
The work progressed through removal, inspection and levelling before the new floor finish was installed.
The sequence gave the flooring installation a prepared surface and allowed the work to proceed through completion checks.
