SCE delivered a major make-safe package for Tandem after a fallen tree damaged a property in Grays Point. The works combined tree removal and disposal, temporary roof propping and covering, boarding of broken windows and doors, and debris removal.
The large tree impact affected the roof and building openings. SCE brought structural support, temporary protection and removal works together in the response.
This assignment combined substantial tree removal with temporary structural support and building protection. SCE’s scope covered the fallen tree, damaged roof, broken openings and debris around the affected property.
SCE removed and disposed of the fallen tree and removed debris from the works. The photographs show the large trunk across the building, vegetation and damaged building materials, and removed components gathered outside.
The works included temporary propping of the roof structure and temporary covering of the roof. The interior photograph records the steel props beneath exposed roof timbers.
SCE boarded up all broken windows and doors as part of the make-safe package. The boarding photograph shows a damaged external opening enclosed during the works.
The fallen tree created a major construction and make-safe task involving the roof, openings and surrounding debris. The response combined work inside the property with removal and protection work outside.
