The final package must follow the issued design, product system, specifications, surveys, inspection and testing plan, asset-owner controls and allocated responsibilities. Relevant elements may include:

Responsibility boundary
SCE can deliver the construction package and coordinate engineering, accessibility and specialist inputs through appropriately qualified appointments. Rail access, possessions, safeworking, isolations and network control remain under the asset owner’s and rail operator’s authorised arrangements.
The contract identifies design, testing, inspection and handback responsibilities, with statutory approvals, independent certification and asset acceptance retained by the relevant responsible parties.

Platform-specific context
Platform resurfacing is not a single standard treatment. Existing construction, condition, levels, drainage, edge geometry, tactile and accessibility requirements, nominated products, operating constraints and acceptance criteria can change the appropriate package.
Share the existing condition, drawings and intended surface treatment so we can identify the required investigations, specialist inputs, access arrangements and delivery sequence.
Confirm finished surface levels and interfaces before deciding how much area to resurface in each stage. The design needs to coordinate the surface thickness with drainage, doors, platform edges, tactile elements and adjoining accessible paths. Changes at one interface can affect the treatment needed elsewhere.
The available work window includes preparation, any accepted substrate repairs, installation, curing or other product requirements, inspections, clean-down and handback. It is not all productive laying time. Plan material delivery, waste removal and protected passenger routes around that full sequence.
Agree what happens if removal reveals additional repairs or weather delays the surface treatment. Any change to the work boundary, temporary protection or staged return to use must follow the authorised project arrangements. SCE coordinates the construction evidence and remaining interface items for handback; the rail operator and other appointed parties retain their operational release responsibilities.
