SCE Construction Quality Management System | ISO & DBP Compliance QA, Safety, Environment
As an ISO-certified contractor NSW SCE Corp operates an integrated Construction Management System that aligns with ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (OHS). Our procedures cover tender review, risk assessment, procurement, subcontractor onboarding, ITPs, SWMS, environmental controls, inspections, non-conformance management, commissioning and handover. Environmental aspects and impacts registers guide the mitigation of noise, dust and waste; safety risk registers and SWMS detail controls for working at heights, plant, electrical and public interfaces. On quality, hold points, test plans and checklists ensure traceability from sub-trade prequalification to completion certificates. Our system anchors DBP requirements, design declarations, competent practitioners and robust documentation for façade and cladding, waterproofing, structure and essential services. This disciplined framework reduces defects, accelerates approvals and builds trust with clients, certifiers, insurers and regulators.
The strength of an ISO-certified contractor NSW lies in daily execution. Our Construction Management System sets out toolbox talks, training records, inductions, permits, and audits to ensure field practices align with documented procedures. Environmental programs track recycling rates and sediment controls; safety programs monitor leading indicators (such as inspections and close calls) as well as incident trends; and quality programs capture test data (including pull-out tests and waterproofing flood tests) and close non-conformances quickly.
Under our Quality, Safety, and Environmental framework, we conduct lessons-learned reviews, update standard details, and refine risk registers so future projects benefit immediately. Digital document control and versioning ensure current drawings are available at the workface. The outcome is consistent delivery with fewer surprises, faster close-out, and compliant, durable work across renovations, cladding replacement, complex remedial works, and civil infrastructure projects throughout NSW and the ACT.
At Sydney Contracting Engineers, embedded in SCE System, we believe in empowering the local workforce and suppliers and this is why we solely operate based on engaging local contractors and subcontractors as well as hiring the most suitable equipment for each project activity.
